Last week I bought Konjac Sponge from Look fantastic page for £7.99. I was curious about trying this sponge after reading so many good reviews. It looked smaller in pictures.

Company says this is perfect puff sponge for skin that needs rejuvenating and refining. Konjac sponge with French Red Clay gives deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation to brighten dull complexion and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  They say this is ideal sponge for uneven skin tone, blotchiness, broken capillaries and thread veins.

I have to say this is my perfect size sponge; it fits perfectly in the palm.French Red Clay is high in iron oxide which is known to stimulate blood circulation for a healthy glow. Naturally rich in trace elements, French Red Clay cleans out the skin form the layers of dead keratinized cells, and accelerates the regeneration process.

It’s very easy to use, just rinse your Konjac Sponge in warm water, squeeze out any excess water, and gently cleanse skin moving in circular motion. It’s not necessary to use cleansing products, but you can if you want. After use, always rinse your sponge well, and allow drying in an airy place between uses. Please be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibres, just squeeze between your flattened hands. Also after drying sponge will harden and shrink in size but that’s normal.

This sponge is very soft and gentle for my skin. It doesn’t irritate it in any way. After use my skin feels so soft and smooth and I love it. I’m only using it for a short period of time so I can’t say is it working on my redness and broken capillaries. But it does help with brightening my skin and to even out my skin tone. So far I’m pretty impressed with this puff sponge but we shall see in the long run.

Konjac is reputed for its health giving properties & used by the Japanese for over 1500 years, having originally been used as a medicine in the sixth century.

Have you tried any Konjac sponge? I really want to try other Konjac sponges. So please leave a comment down below if you have a recommendation for me.
